Motor

The KTM SX-E 5 has a super-advanced fully electric, water-cooled permanent magnet motor that provides 30% more riding time compared to the previous version and peak power at 5.0 kW. The motor continues to boast an extremely compact and slim design that perfectly matches the KTM SX-E 5's minimal chassis. It is also dust and waterproof which makes it wear and maintenance-free, while the integrated control unit (ECU) guarantees a direct, but very controllable power delivery.

Frame

The KTM SX-E 5 frame is forged from lightweight, high-strength Chromoly steel profiles and combines maximum longitudinal stiffness with optimum torsional rigidity. The modification provides more robustness, handling and a tougher rear shock mounting point. The subframe is made of lightweight, fiberglass reinforced plastic, which can be mounted in diffrent positions for different seat heights. This means that the KTM SX-E 5 can 'grow' with your young racer.

Wheels

KTM SX-E 5 is fitted with 12" and 10" lightweight, black anodized, aluminum rims which provide the highest strength and durability for any eventuality. These are wrapped in MAXXIS MX-ST tires, to provide unmatched traction on any surface.

Front suspension

The KTM SX-E 5 boasts a fully adjustable, upside-down WP XACT air fork with a 35 mm tube diameter and 205 mm of travel. This ensures outstanding comfort, damping characteristics, and directional stability. Another main benefit for junior riders is that the air spring fitted in the left fork leg can be adjusted perfectly to the rider's weight using a simple air pump.
